Nope my wolf is actually really calm, he'll swim from side to side a bit and when the oscar gets close he'll swim away to avoid contact. But Im just not sure if he's eating, my oscar is pellet trained but he get cocky to try and snatch feeders, he used to try and eat my snakeheads food but when the snakehead hit about 12" the oscar couldnt keep up. But now I have a wolf (snakehead is not in that tank anymore) and I never see him eat, I don't know if its because he's nocturnal. Do wolfs normally back down from food if they get to a point of hunger?I had a goliath tigerfish with the exact same problem. it was the midsized one of the trio. he could see large movement out of it but small stuff like pellets he wouldnt see out of that side but when he spotted them with the other he aggressively ate them. i also found that if another gatf snuck up on that side of him it would make him spaz out and sometimes bite the other gatf. does your wolf have the same sort of problem? i think its due to an injury the animal has received in the past.
well wolf fish are much more calm as it is. heres a pic of my atf with the strange pupil View attachment 891836 im not too experienced with wolf fish but i know when its dark they r way more active. he was beat up in the pic. he got his *** kicked by a much larger gatf before i got him
