It's an Erythrinus sp. Peru. Young sp. Peru's have a dark blotch near the base of their caudal fin. The more common Erythrinus Erythrinus don't have the same blotch. Sp. Peru's aslo have the orange under the back half of their bodies, where as Ery Ery's have the orange on their flanks. Do a search for Erythrinus sp. Peru and you should find a bit more info on them.

I couldnt find any good pictures on the internet but it looks differant to me. Also, it was caught in manaus brazil, not very close to peru. Thanks though!

It's Sp. Peru. The species hasn't been given a scientific name yet. Consider Sp. Peru a common name. Just because it was originally discovered in Peru, doesn't mean that's the only place they are located. Just like every other wolf species. Aimara aren't restricted to Venezuela. Malas aren't restricted to the Brasil. Etc. The Amazon is the largest river system in the world, touching all countries in SA. To think a species is going to stay within a specific country border is a bit comical.

My fish is selling them stocklist write other name too.

Same as mine??

The picture mouth is sharper mine is more round..

Hey Tig. Yeah I would say they're the same species. Head shape may be due to maturity of the fish, could have to do with sex, or even just the individual fish. But yeah I believe they're the same. Probably looks a little different because your fish is older.
