Hey Tig. Yeah I would say they're the same species. Head shape may be due to maturity of the fish, could have to do with sex, or even just the individual fish. But yeah I believe they're the same. Probably looks a little different because your fish is older.

Definitely an erythrinus without a doubt.
All erythrinus are pretty much the same... So species wouldn't matter too much.
