New Wolf; ID?

I am looking for a few other Characins at the moment, though i am impressed with the current chaps responsiveness and helpfulness not to mention their direct relationship with the fishermen/fisheries in SA. I had always thought Oddball Express/Rapps specialised in Cichlids more than anything else but i'll certainly keep an eye out on the lists as they circulate.

Who is the current chap? Any chance i could have contact details?

Rapps do tend to get more cichlids in but it is always worth checking the list. This is on the current one:

Hoplias curupira 12-15” 300.00 jumbo black wolf fish-very rare Orinoco import! Looks like a coelacanth

Is that the fish pictured above i wonder? If not, and i had £300 spare....

Except that is apparently an Aimara..! They've jsut corrected the mistake and are trying to get photos of the Blacks.

I was sent the same pictures by my supplier, was told is was a black but no for sure its an aimara, i have ordered a couple boxes hoping they will be aimara's lol..
can always hope cant we...

I am Steve. Going by the sizes you have been given the images are showing a much bigger fish than the sizes specified and as you know the image file names are aimara*.jpg. An admin mistake I think.

yep its me lol, Well the shipment arrives on tuesday so i will know for sure what they are and i dont mind either way what they are but will keep you posted guys.

If they turn out to be aimara that would be a bonus as there worth a lot more money but who knows with suppliers, i dont think they know there heads from there a**e so its all on tuesday lads..
