It won't pick up the sand, just the poop n food. Get pool filter sand it's $10/50lb bag. Otherwise your gonna spend $20/20lb bag at your LFS

Pool filter doesn't come in any other color. I've gone pool filter sand many times and I would recommend black if you can. The black brings out the colors of the bass.

Yeah I will go with the black. Even though this is just a grow out tank I still want it to look good lol. The hard part is going to be getting the gravel out and sand in. Any suggestions?
