Im real excited!
One of my three perch I caught the other day actually made it, and I JUST put it in the tank with my two baby channels. He seemed very happy and swimming around just fine.
Hopefully I can get pics up soon... and im going to try to catch him some friends tomorrow

congratulations! did you pick him up with a net? or did you use rod and reel? in the future you could go on a dock with a fishing net and try and net a fish. you could bait the water but probably only Minos will be there.

Rod and Reel. Got some more in the tank the other day... they aren't as ative as i thought they'd be, but i think i need to get some cover in the tank for them.

Perch tend to be not the most active fish until food hits the water.

pics please

I'll have pics tomorrow (well i guess later today) after I cull out the school, and maybe ad a pumpkin seed or two.

Monster w00ts! Finally got pics of the perch (my channels are in there too... they just usually get lost under my mini school of perch... haha

Oh yeah, and the perch will be culled in a bit, when I can go through and think about what im culling... but right now they have plenty of filtration and water changes to not be overloading the tank... there are 6 perch in my 45g right now...

Oh yeah, one of them decided to be a dork when i came up to the tank and tried to hide in the albino channels cave... thought it was rather funny, I had to pull him out after he sat there for a hour... (last pic)

Thanks. I've wanted a native tank for a while now, so this is pretty exciting! :D They are really easy to catch haha, now i just have to get them eatting something...

Those would look too sweet in a big tank all schooled up
