I know, I didn't mean to say he looked sick or anything, I just really liked to have seen the transformation from baby black to adult blue. But at least he's kinda big (3"+) and not as fragile as a really small baby black. So far just staying still near the top near some floating plants. Tail is completely straight no drooping tail. Thinking feeding crush hikari cichlid pellets as bderick recommended.

Start with freeze dried blood worms, then add in the crushed pellets once it's eating good.

Throughout the whole day the black has just be floating in the same spot all day not swimming that much, well I just turned my living light off and I saw my little black exploring its new surrounding. Darkness made the little guy more braver, it's been swimming end to end. Haven't fed it yet though, gotta go get some freeze dried bloodworms.

was thinking of ordering from snook21, guess this counts as a reference!

If you are thinking about online fish buying, this is your man. Buying fish is cheap online, but the shipping cost is what kills you. snookn21 has the cheapest overnight shipping I've ever seen. Not to mention the packaging is top notch and fish were top notch.

Nice aro! Did he have other blacks for sale?

Yes at the time. He's out of baby blacks for sure. I think he might have some 4" blacks for $100 though, last I checked he had 3 left.

Nice Black.
