howdy, I am new to these forums just wanted to stop in and say hello.

I have a 90 gallon tall tank with about 35 Africans looking to get some more, would like to pick up a few Reds or some other pretty colors, I am not really that familur with the actual names of them, I just really like the way they look.

nice tank hope when all my Texas Holey Rock gets in and my fish get a little bigger i can post some pix.

Looking good mate! may I suggest a red empress (Protomelas taeniolatus)

http://www.aquahobby.com/gallery/e_Protomelas_taeniolatus.php

these are amazing looking fish and are a great add to any african tank! I suggest 1 male and 1 female if you have the choice... if not I would buy 5 of them and keep only 1 male. you can pick between males and females because males color up and females are a silver and black with red stripe on top fin. Nice tank... all your fish are pretty small right now... they will get much bigger :D

"WELCOME".Great to see a tank looking like this.:cool-1:
Pic needs to be a lot clearer to help ID what you have. Try to take a few closer-up shots of the sections of tank.
What I can make out is the following,
bottom left, blue coloured fish is a "Melanochromis maingano" Females tend to be slightly lighter in colouring than the males.
Yellow fish could be "Labidochromis caeruleus". Do they have some black in their dorsal fins?
Pale blue fish could be "Metriaclima caillanos", better known as blue cobalts.
Speckled one looks to me like a "Labeotropheus fuelleborni". Does this fish have a mouth that is quite different to the rest?
Brownish striped fish just off the centre looks like a "Melanochromis auratus". Colouring is that of a male. The females stay the yellow colouring of the juveniles.
 :naughty: :clap :woot: :headbang2

The tank looks great. I love the way the colors of the fish stand out against the lighter areas of the tank.

Ok so I tried to get a couple closer pics of the fish (man what a pain in the ass)
But here is the best I can do so far.

Ooh and Thanks for all the comments, I am just a beginner only been doing this for about 2-3 years, I still have a lot to learn
