Just picked up a new flagtail. Are flagtails known for eating other fishes? B/C I have some goldy plecos that the flagtai; could possibly eat. The flagtail is 4-5" and the gold plecos are 3". I know flagtails are veggie eaters, but are they known to eat other fishes? BTW its a yellow tail.

I already love this guy, mouth reminds me of a pleco. He's already sucking on the walls of my tank (I never scrub the walls). And the datnoids don't seem to mind him.

Really cool. I might have to get a flagtail if it sucks the algae off the walls.

My side walls are completely scrubed. Thank you flagtail.
;) I told you these guys are way better than any pleco at getting the algea. He looks good, was just looking at them a few days ago at the store.

I know there was 2x, the other one was hiding in the corner in some moss. This guy seems to have been the bully, so I chose him. Damn I really wanted that VATF that Fantastic Fins has, but $300 is a bit steep...

Nice flagtail :)
and No they won't eat live.
