i am new to this site and i love it. there is nothin like raising big fish. my only problem is i havent found a species to keep me interested long enough to keep anything for a long period of time. i have had red tail catfish, peacock bass, shovelnose, anything that eats other fish. but when they get big i end up selling everything.

Welcome to MFK! What sized tank do you have? Fish like Red Tailed cats and P-Bass get enormous and need huge tanks, so its only natural that they're going to outgrow most tanks, but there are lots of other great predatory fish that stay smaller that might not outgrow your tank depending on the size. I'm sure someone here can help you pick out a great fish that suites your tank and captures your interest.

my friend jus bought a 125g tank and the tank i have is way bigger than his. the tank has been im my family for years and nobody can remember exactly how big it is. but its not small. i have never had any problem keeping fish alive or fish out growing the tank i just cant find anything to keep my intrest for a long period of time.

Awesome! Welcome to the site!! You must live pretty close to Blue Grass Cichlids...hes a great guy! And can get in some great stuff. You should also try Crenicichla...like pbass with attitude!! ;) Gotta love them!! Hope to see yaz around more! IF you don't want any of the fish now, gimme a list! ;)
