Looks parachromis friedrichsthalii but I’m not certain.

Parachromis hybrid of some sort. My guess would be jaguar x flowerhorn but it's a crapshoot really. Would expect it to get pretty big and be very mean. Interesting looking fish for sure

I definitely see that classic parachromis head shape, something is different about the pattern on the body.
Coming from petco you’re probably right about the hybrid part.
