your cichlid tank sounds interesting. I'm a big fan of mixing cichlids from different areas as well. Got a frontosa, mbuna, haps, and central americans all in a 200g!

Okay I"m located in Wisconsin-
Owning your own business is cool but I have to keep another job to pay bills cuz we have only been open for a little over a year, but I've worked in pet stores for as long as I can remember.

I currently have WAYY to many tanks in my apartment

1.) Brackish water 29 gallon, 3 mono's 2 red scats 1 green scat. I put a momma convict in there beacause she was trying to kill my other fish in another tank.. And shes doing suprizingly well. and 2 silver sharks

2.) Gourami Tank. Kisser, 2 blue g's, 3 gold, 1 snake skin, 1 wild, 1 red tailed black shark, 1 pleco, 1 pears, 1 lavender

3. My head board, I have a 55 gallon head board with 1 small silver arrorawa, 2 knife fish, 2 plecos, 1 compressisept, 1 channel cat, 1 blue channel cat, and yes I'm getting a bigger tank for all that i'm not silly

4.) MY CHICLIDS!! All sorts of africans.. I like to tempt fate and mix some of the lakes and its going quite well. Aside from my convicts making babies and taking over half of the tank should have expected that. And my silver sharks and my pictus cats, peacocks, a fish I call "dopey" cus I dont' remember his real name, some red zebras, etc.

I have 3 iguanas. Sage 25lb female, Moe, 12 lb male and hector.. the idy bidy baby. The cage takes up my kitchen.
My fiance is a herbitologist and he is the on call "Snake Rescue" guy for most of the local counties and we get called in on all sorts of weird stuff. Someone let an alligator loose in the local park and we had the cops call us to help "find it"

we specilize in chiclids, but we sell the run of the mill tropcial fish as well. We are also the only store in the area that has brackish water fish
