Newbie Help Please...

Alright so i think i'm going to go with some malawi cichlids. Does this sound ok
-40 gal tank(don't know the measurements yet)
-1 Red Zebra
-1 Blue Zebra
-1 Bumblebee
-1 Demasoni
What do you guys think? Maybe a pleco.

Do a little research on the pleco if you want one. Make sure it will max out at ~5" (which means none of the ones available at Petco / petsmart).

get a pair of electricblue jack dempseys

i keep them in my wifes tank and they dont dig my plants up
i have several peaces of drift wood and rocks for them to hide in they do just fine with the plants

I don't like keeping plecos with mbunas, I'm always afraid theyll get picked on since they don't understand anything about staying out of other fishes territory.
