cant help with specifics but you should try to find a complany that does acrylic or plastics in your area, avoid shipping all together. there are definitely a lot of people who build plywood tanks, i've even built one myself. i, like a lot of other people, found mine to be more of a headache due to leaks and such. it depends on how you seal it of course. mine lasted for a while and then sprung a leak in the back. i've also heard a lot of stories of the sealant failing after a couple years. next time i build a tank i'm going to try to due acrylic just because it seems more durable. thats just my opinion of course, it is no doubt cheaper to go plywood though.
 
I'm not sure what your budget is but you might be able to look into saving for a Pentair fiberglass tank with a viewing window. They come in sizes up to 720 gallons, I believe. They are pretty economical and several members on here have one.

I've honestly never heard of this type of tank before. Google here I come! Lol
