Ok, So I need two big pumps and a big sump( 90 gallons perhaps) or would it be better to run 2 mid size sumps? Like I said Im somewhat of a Newbie.... If someone would be so kind to be patient with me and ask as many questions as needed...Maybe even refer me to some sort of diagram it would be much appreciated....

DO NOT USE TWO SUMPS.....JUST ONE.....you can run two pumps in that one sump....in case one burns out...you have one that is still running....just make sure the bulkheads from your tank to the sump are large enough to accommodate the 2 pump's GPH....

I would use a sump and a FX5. Hook up the FX5 to one set of input/output holes and the sump on the other set.

I think thats what I shall do. A canister/ sump combo Now just have to see what an FX5 even is...Like I said im new, I know what a xp3 and xp4 are....LOL

An FX5 is another canister made by fluval that is good for a 400 gallon tank. ( according to the box that is)
