Morning, noon, and night isn't necessary LOL. Once per day would be plenty, if that. What are you currently feeding it (has it eaten yet)? What size tank is he in?

thanks 4 replying.. just fed what the pet shop owner told me, a molly.. but my friend said i just fed it a malaw cichlid..

ok so, i can just feed it once a day, everyday. got it! il post pics wen i get home.. bwt the tank, i dont know the exact measurement.. i just made xur that it isnt too small and too big..

will wait for replies

thanks a bunch..

okay so i cud feed it once a day, everyday.. good ت

nice gar..lots of luck with it...

I would buy either feeder platies or rosey reds, and keep a group of them in the tank at all times for the gar to feed on as it chooses. At that size, they should have food available when they want to eat. It will help them grow nicely. Or else keep a group of feeders in another tank, and drop in half a dozen whenever you walk by in the morning or evening. You don't want to feed to little, or the gar won't grow and will become stunted.

Nice Florida Gar by the way.

conner and xander are right. that size it should have food constantly. throw a ton of them in(qt first) and make sure it is filled often.

Nice Gar :) Looks like a Florida to me.
You don't have to feed them 3 times/day but like some of the others on here said, just make sure it has feeders (minnows/rosies) available 24/7 when they are at that age.
Nice work man so far...

when its 12" or 14" or so then u could cut back. i still wouldnt but u can
