Newbie Post - “Sheriff” The Flowerhorn

Used the Forum as a reference in the months leading up to bringing home my first Flowerhorn Cichlid, so thought it only right that I should join as a member and share some pictures now that Sheriff is settled in and home officially a week as of today.

Wish I could get a picture that gets the colors right but Sheriff was more interested in trying to attack my iPhone through the glass than let me take a beauty shot.

I’m not much of a photographer, but if you sit back from the tank so Sheriff doesn’t think you’re gonna feed him, wait for his behavior to settle and resume his tank prowling, it easier to get good clear shots that you can then crop

75 Gallon Tank
2x AC110s
Submersible Heater
Carib Sea Midnight River substrate
Carib Sea Black River Rocks
