Okay.. soI have a second person account of a piranha attack. My good friend just got back from a missons trip to Brazil. While she and a friend were swimming in the river, the girl next to her was bitten by several piranha. Not the fish's fault. that is how they survive. I would say it was the Swimmer;s fault. Still don't see why you couldn't keep one in a tank.

Where in Washington state? I live there also

hey trust they became illegal in washington oregon and idaho at the same time along with snakeheads and alligator gar... trust me the only place I have found them in either of the three was Bob's pet and pond in Lewiston Idaho he got them grandfathered in and then had them breeding...

They're not illegal in Oregon though? I can tell you several places you can find them in washington and oregon
