welcome to the world of MFK
we need a few things to start helping you

1)size of the aro
2)size of the tank you currently have him in
3)any tank mates there
4)what was it eating at the lfs you brought him from

note: silvers grow huge, 3'+
shouldn't be kept with large or small chiclids when they are small
should be kept alone when they are small so that theya ren't harassed by any other fish
if he is small try feeding live blood worms till he gains some size
feeders are a bad option as they aren't good nutrition and might have diseases and parasites
all that said
good luck with your aro

1. aro is 8-10in....no sac
2 .55 for know..then 150 when he needs it
3. just some 5 tiny zebras..used to cycle tank....
4.they just said live food?

I cant find live bloodworms......I bought some chiclid gold pellets....frozen bloodworms....frozen krill....frozen brine shrimp....
I dont know the best way to offer the frozen food to him "i need some tips"....what about fresh shrimp.."deshelled" I can also get live mealworms or waxworms and crickets....what do u suggest?

That cichlid bio gold pellet is good enough;) I'm feeding that to my aros as well.

cichlid bio gold is what I have been using for years to raise aros.
Did you realise that aros been fed with these pellets are always hungry?

as stated before ..you can't go wrong w/ hikari cichlid bio gold pellets...i would stay away from live food (feeders, crickets, etc.) it's hard to get them off those once fed, i use only as a treat....defrosted/fresh market shrimp is great to bulk him up quick (cut into small pieces).
