Get rid of that 'other loach'. It's a golden Chinese algae eater. Once it matures, it will develop a taste for mucous membrane victimizing your angels and discus. These are also very nasty fish that grow to 10 inches despite their slow growth rate.
And bump.:D

Lupin,

I got your advised and just got a spanking brand new glass tank with the dimension of 72.5" x 18.5" x 23 3/8" with both stand and canopy. The complete tank and furniture was delivered to my resident last night when I came home from work. I will apply a couple of stain coats on the stand and canopy prior setting up and fishless cycling process begins this weekend. For sure that, this new tank will definately give those 10 discus fishes a lot more room to wander around. I am planning to stock 10 more discus to complete my wish list :).

what species are they ??
as the other friends told, I would just remove the algae eater.
the discus and the angels are living well together ???
I plan to make a bigger tank and put my discus and angels together too

nice discus and angeland welcome.

just a reminder, don't rush.. do not forget to cycle your newly tank, before putting any fish..

nice but your tank is short

This is a 125 gallons tank and it has a length measurement @ 72.5" long. I do not think this tank is short.

I am still looking for the pool filter sand, but no success so far. Just picked up 2 50 lbs play sand bags last night from Home Depot. It took me 3 hours to wash 1 1/2 bag this morning. Luckily I washed it really very, or else, the whole tank will be very muddy and cloudy. For those of you who are interesting or planning to use play sand for your tank. Make sure to wash it really well, or else your fish will not be very happy...
