I think you'd be better off looking for one in person, rather than online, if you're "that" picky about what you're looking for.
I would have to completely disagree, i have had many seller atleast send me a picture of the parents, now if it is something they don't list and they are a trusted name because i have bought from them, then yes it would be ok, like rainnybetta. You wouldn't have to seperate them(but they should be once they are big)for a picture if they are fry, just take a picture of all of them, that would work for me, which i am picky. I hate low grade flowerhorns(not offense) but i would not buy unless i saw a picture.
