50 dollars? That is pretty expensive! Jeez. And I got all this stuff from the beach because it was free! Well, I wonder if I should just cycle the tank the fish way.

Feeder goldfish or feeder guppies are the hardiest cyclers, as they already come from very poor conditions. So cycling is most likely better than their incredibly overcrowded existence at the lfs.gobucks1;1766405;1766405 said:it really depends on what fish your gonna put in their. some are really picky, some need very little cycling. if your getting something really hardy you wont need as much cyling or a test kit. but if your getting some weak wuss fish, cycle it good and get a kit.
