Those archers need a big tank. I had Blythii in a 125 and they killed each other off at around 4 inches

I have 5x 3" Burmese archers with a 6" common archer in a 170g with many other community fish. Currently, they chase each other around without harm. Hopefully, I don't get the same carnage as you. Thx, for sharing. Will update
170 will probablly be a lot better. When I had my group in a 125 they were fantastic until around 4 inches, then they started getting territorial. The dominant fish would patrol the entire tank and chase any other archer into the back corners behind the plants. So then the other archers started fighting for their each little hiding spot. No damage was actually done to the other archers but only the dominant fish would come out and eat. I lost two to stress and no food before I decided to just rehome everyone. That was actually why I left the hobby for three years, it pissed me off so much. Anyway, the little info I found three years ago, regarding wild populations is that, they don't appear to school as much as other archers when they get larger. That was my experience, I think I just needed a lot more space for them though, I'm curious to see how yours are doing three months from now

I'd love to know too, those little bastards are what made me leave the hobby for two years, I hope yours are going strong.
Still have all 5. All have grown .5 to 1" since I purchased them. Basically, relatively slow but steady growth. No change in behavior, just some chasing, not a single nipped fin. Still, one of my best purchases.
Lucky you getting them to eat hikari sticks. My archer refuses to eat any pellets. Gone through a gamut of brands but no luck. Eats australian blackworms [bledy expensive], shrimp, blood worms and sometimes tetra bits.
Refused fluker's crickets and grasshoppers. Used to eat mealworms but not been able to get them here.
