Been a longtime lurking member. MFK is one of the few forums I have found to have a higher common expertise amongst it's members and have appreciated the things I've learned and problems I've worked out from reading here. As well as admired and drooled over many of the set ups of the members.
Just wanted to introduce myself. I've been in the hobby since I was around 12 years old, so going on 20 years now. Recently upgraded my main tank to a 210 gallon, it currently houses 14 clown loaches (8 original/6 juveniles) 1 ornate bichir and 1 common pleco. Slowly working on integrating plants from my planted tank into it, clown loaches don't make those efforts simple, but confident I'm persistent enough to make it work to some degree.
Clown loaches are my fish of choice. They hold a special place in my heart, I really do consider them part of my family. Upgrading tanks as well as moving them once they get a certain size is far from a simple task, but longterm I'd like to see my current shoal (as well as some new additions) in a DIY plywood 400-500 gallon tank with the focus being on length.
