Newly bought FH: need help (not eating)

i bought a new FH about 4 inches in size.
ive been observing him for a 2 days now and he is not been eating.

i resorted to putting in the tank live feeders.

he is alone in the tank with the live feeds.

any one know what to do? he seems to be just killing the the live feed and not eating them.

try to feed pellets.. give it a few more days, it will slowly adjust to its new home

If they've never eaten the food, it will take them a little while to get used it.

Did you by from a store or on line? If it was shipped this is common and if not still kind of common. Flowerhorn can take some time to adjust to new tanks after a move. I have had one's come in from shipping and not eat for up to two weeks. Don't worry about it stave him out for a few days and try again. Try to stay away from the live fish though, because we it does start to eat it might get picky on you, and you will have to do the whole thing over again to undo it. Try shrimp or crickets
