Newport Aquarium volunteer

Thanks everyone! If you want to do something similiar, many zoos/aquariums let kids ages 14-17 volunteer, usually as a docent (dude who holds an animal and lets people touch it/tell facts about it) Just check out your local zoos website


Like ceeej said, you can also volunteer to dive in the tanks, but you need to be 18 or older.

Yeah that would be awesome. I get to go behind the scenes on lots of exhibits, and I think we might get to take a trip to the warehouse where the aquarium grows out fish and other stuff

I think I'll break the "man code" and sit with some girls tommorow, it would be awesome to know a girl or two that knows things about fish/herps
