Im making a plan to go freshwater fishing in Florida canals for exotic fish and do some collecting fish for my aquariums. How much for a nonresident fishing license for a day or two day? Is legal to bring fillets from Florida to home? I need to be prepare for it next year's spring break. I hope i dont get eaten by alligators while fishing/collecting for. i had no idea where and which the canals hold some species. Tips and advice please thank you.

Here's the species list Im going after:
Mayan Cichlid
Midas Cichlid
Jaguar Cichlid
Peacock bass
Snakehead
Tilapia
Oscar
Monster pleco
Jewelfish (for aquarium)
Spotted Mosquitofish (for aquarium)
Mummichogs (im awared that they are not in canals)

Too bad they live in Northern Florida...so I wont catch them down in South Florida unless some idiot released redeye bass in canals lol.

yes true but if i was traveling that far to collect fish i would have to had up and try to get one cuz you dont know the next time youll be able to =).

Yeah but its pretty far from the south Florida...and im not excatly rich person lol

Wow thats cheap prices for nonresident license. Now i need to see if it is legal to bring fillets (especially tilapia fillets) to Minnesota. And is legal to bring fishing pole and tackle box to airport?

lol walk it would be worth it =), jk
