Ya still got Herm as your head ache though. Weren't the cheifs a playoff team when he took over?

lol why yes they were but vermiel knew the ship was sinking and left us with a bunch of aging vets that had no value anymore . One that comes to mind is Willie roaf , when he retired it was over

It would have been nice to keep Jared Allen for one more year....:irked:
They needed to get rid of Larry Johnson, he's got no heart for the game and all the other teams know it...so no value compared to what he's being paid..minimum effort maximum reward:confused:

Herm Edwards, not much to say about this coach, except he knows how to create a losing program. The chiefs don't care they sell out every year regardless of how non competitve the teams are...So it really doesn't matter who we pick....

wow!!!! just wow , give the guy a chance he took over a team with johnny morton and eddie kennison as there recievers and priest holmes as there running back , dont get me wrong priest was a beast ... when he was healthy but that wasnt often not to mention the defense omfg . hes already drafted better and has better players just give it another year . then we can bring in bill cowher :headbang2

Just stating the facts "Edwards enters the 2007 NFL campaign owning a 48-48 regular season record in his previous six years as an NFL head coach. Including a 2-4 mark in the postseason, his overall ledger stands at 50-52."

Chiefs where 4 -12 in 2007 that makes his coaching record a remarkable:
54-64, I guess there's no where to go but up!:naughty::ROFL: He should be home watching the game on Sunday instead of coaching..

I think a bigger concern for the Chiefs than Herm Edwards is who their QB will be. Herm is a good coach who will maximize effort and strive to put players in the best position to be accountable and coachable. His clock management skills could use a little work :D but he will stabilize that aged and inconsistent franchise. I don't know if he can lead them to the Super Bowl, but only 2 coaches each year in the NFL can!

Besides, they got Dorsey. He can elevate the entire D, and I think you will be pleasantly suprised at his all-out attitude and effort. Pro-Bowl caliber DTs that play all out can be numbered on 1 hand ...

Now how 'bout dem Saints!?! We got ourselves a young DT, Vilma to captain the defense, and play in the NFC South. That means we have a shot!

Thank you! The MN fans appreciate your generosity! We'll take the 15.5 sacks, hopefully he doesn't sack any one while drunk on the highway.
