We offered a first round pick, they rejected it.
 
I say the Vikes only give up that first rounder for schaub if they can't get Culter. But I don't think Schaub is worth the 17th pick in the draft. Schaub = overrated. :)
 
If Schaub was available as the 17th pick I would take him. He has proven success. Plus we have Brad Johnson, who was good in his prime, but he could get sacked by a stiff 5 mph wind.

alex Smith is straight up dung. I feel bad for 49er fans. Kiper said smith would be the 4th or 5th ranked qb in this draft.
