He'll need some wideouts first, and to stop diving headfirst into the endzone, or he he'll be playing NFL football on Madden.
See.. the funniest thing about Vick and the falcons is the amazing amount of misconceptions the team gets.. namely due to that all people focus on is Vick and the incredibely high standards everyone set for him out of college. If hes not winning everygame and making jaw-dropping plays on every highlight, he's a schmuck..
Such misconceptions like he needs WR's to throw to.. But the last 2 years the falcons used both of their first round picks on Wideouts.. Michael Jenkins and Roddy White. Jenkins hardly got any playing time his rookie year, and had a sub-par year last year, but should continue to develop into a big playmaker.. Roddy White was a rookie last year, and a contract hold-out ruined the ability to develop a comfortable relationship with Vick and his throwing style in the pre-season.. It will take some time for the youngin's to learn how to play in the NFL, and become comfortable with Vick.. if not this year, then next year this recieving core will be getting the attention they deserve, as will Vick's passing ability..
THEN, there is Brian Finneran who is one of the best '3rd' WR's in the entire league.. Amazing possesion reciever, and an awesome huge target for Vick. Not to mention Pro-bowl TE Alge Crumpler who is absolutely sick.. Unfortunately analysts see to it that Vick gets no credit for having an obvious connection with Crumpler, as they believe Vick relies on him too much. Any smart QB would use his TE, and if Vick didn't use it, he would get scolded for not dumping his ball off to the TE enough.
Vick will never silence his critics, until he wins the big ones..
and as far as diving head first into the endzone, I enjoy scoring touchdowns and so does Mike Vick.
