Ngt with indo

Hi all im thinking of getting an ngt around 8inch do you think he would be OK in with my 3 bar indo 8inch.

I've had the two species in a tank before but they were not of such substantial size differences.It's hard to predict when it comes to NGT with their reputation for being aggressive towards other fish.

IME you need more than 2. Doesn’t matter what type. Although, I’ve never kept silvers.

Silvers tend to be very active compared to indos and NGT but they are not usually aggressive.They certainly dont have the rep that NGT have.

I wouldn't risk it.
I kept 2 indos together for a short while, and one would always beat up on the other one. In order to get away with it, you must have a huge aquarium or 4 or more datnoids in the tank to diffuse aggression.

Fighting between two dats that are kept together is common but not always the case,I currently have two indos in two different tanks and there is hardly any squabbling from any of them.

That NGT looks like it is accustomed to having things it's way lol.
