is this normal? hes not burnt (heaters aren't even on). eating good and active. just has a reddish tint towards the top fins and body.

ammonia levels is fine. I cant get a good picture. no lights but I have a discus with him also. and the discus is fine. so are my clown loaches. my mollies even gave birth in this tank 3 days ago. and I do water changes at 25-35% every friday

Get some pics up pronto...until then we can't say for sure but I have seen NGTs with a bit of reddish orange in them.

he wont stay still for a picture. he has no problem with me. but he doesn't like my phone lol. goes straight into the plants or behind the heater.

Does it look like this? Heres a picture of mines when I first got it on June 23. Some had more red than others out of a tank of 10. Got first dibbs and netted this one with the most red and was the most stable and active. Still have not seen this guy go unstable yet.IMG_7914.JPG

That reddish coloring could be a regional variation.
