Nicaragua Cichlid coloring up

Definetly a looker! Do you plan on getting her a mate? Good progress
 
I believe it haha. She digs and digs and digs all day. Well that and murders the plants. She definitely lives up to the reputation of a cichlids for sure. As for a mate, I've thought about it but idk. I have her in a 125 with 6 Geophagus Redhead Tapajos, and EBJD, 6/7 Red and Blue Colombian Tetras, and a F1 L333 King Tiger Pleco. I feel like I'm probably at my stocking limit. Two of the Geos spawned before though. I think if I did, I'd prefer to put her and a mate in their own breeder tank. It does sound like a lot of fun if I had the space and cash.

So thankful for finding this page. I have a pair of nicaragua cichlids that just mated. Now i have free swimming fry. wanted to know if anyone has breed these fish and how fast they grow. Everything I have read online is so basic.Please if anyone has info on these fish feel free to let me know . Thank you

Holy cow it's been forever. Well she's obviously much larger and has gained that blunt head, maybe it's still developing but she looks pretty grown up to me. She seems to have been the fastest to grow out of all my fish.

So I have a male and female that are both about 7 inches and they just had babies. I now have fry in my tank that are free swimmers . have you raised any from fry?
