I know they're really common but I never see anybody posting theirs. Anyways.. I picked up some wild ones from Rapps stock at a auction a few months ago for dirt cheap and didn't like them as much as the ones I got for $2.50 at my LFS so I re-sold the wilds and kept the ones I got at my LFS. I've currently got 4 of these growing out.

the day I bought them

Think I made the right choice? Post some pics/vids of yours.

Wow that wild male looks nice could of kept him IMO,anyways I don't have a camera any more so i cant post mines =( , well i can tell you how they look. One , the bigger one seems to have paired off with my texas but I suspect them to be both females, kinda weird, and the other is getting chased 24/7 by the texas and bigger nic, when i first bought em their colors were dull but now the blue and orange is very stong and intense, except for the lil one shes been beat so bad shes grey and black all the time, the biger one is 3.5inch and smaller is about 2.5-3 inch. HERES SOME PICS OF HER WHEN SHE WAS YOUNGER.PICS ARE ABOUT 3 MONTHs OLD.

Nics as adults are super cool. But as Juvi's?? I guess you have to look forward for when they grow! Love the colors just watch out, their jumpers! Had a fairly large one long ago and he jumped out... Didn't find him for about a week.......

I got the last 3 they had at preuss 4-5 weeks ago. Not a common fish at all, it's hard to find a lot of pictures of them.

Here you go fellas! Not a great shot, but that outdoor setup doesn't lend itself to good picture taking -- lots of reflections! This fish is a beauty (even if the pic doesn't show it!):
