My big Umbee and Midas dont eat market shrimp either, but I didnt introduce it at a young age. Its all what fish get used to as being foodd

well I've got news. The female started laying eggs last nite so I pulled divider hoping they would spawn. The female finished laying which wasn't much cause her first time and she's only 4". But I was too late on the divider and didn't give male enough time to spawn/ get in the mood. But they do seemed paired out finally so I'm hoping they'll be ready again in couple of weeks

I bet they would lighten up dramatically if you changed the substrate. But I like the dark blue on this guy, I think he looks great.
I'll be upgrading them to a 125 soon so I'm not sure what type of substrate ill use.
