Do these decorations I see in the pics have stiff, wire parts encased in plastic? If so, it'd be advisable to remove them. They are for terrariums, not for underwater application. With or without a scratch, toxic iron may find its way into the aquarium water. The plastic may not be water-impenetrable as its intended application does not require it to be such.

They do have a small part with wire in just where the suction cup is fixed the rest is plastic , the metal is completely covered with plastic no metal on show ,I've had this on the grow out tank for couple of years now no problems at all , r

Just something to keep in mind, esp. if a damage to the plastic encasement occurs, is all. :) From personal experience, that would lead to problems but mine have had quite substantial wired parts.

Yep brazil I think need to do a planet catfish search on him really , I dint think these get too big around 8/10" mark I've been told , I've got a black driftwood cat that's maxed out at around 12" and very chunky but the regular driftwoods mouths are much smaller in scale to the blacks

Bargain!!

Looks like Trachelopterus galeatus. There are also other representatives in this genus which it could also be, though galeatus is the most commonly available.

Cool thanks for the info Richard :)
