all those kelberi's pictures made me into cichla game. But until today I still have none. So much there so rare here

Alsom Kelberi compared with orinos,which ones are rarer?
Personally, I find both sub-species equally nice!

Orinos are more greenish with yellow.

An inspirational photo (to me) from www.fishbase.org of "C. ocellaris." Obviously it's not C. ocellaris based on the anal fin spotting. Very nice male C. kelberi, worth growing mine up and keeping them just to see if they grow into something like this.

I've been told that this picture is representative of the Sao Francisco kelberi race.

Mine has some coloring up left to do but I do see the similarities.

Of all the Kelberi-type Cichla around, SCAT's and R1's are still my favorites. It helps that they can actually take good pix, too, thank goodness!!
