  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah theyre neat. i made mine using the white LEDs. i got a thread in the DIY section too.

sorry for the threadjack kobe lol :)

Yea sorry about jacking your thread, but I try to find information about white and moonlight here but its just so hard to find! I just might get both! I love the effect of both of them and I think it will make my fish look even better through the glass. They got both lights at Wal-Mart right? Which department is it usually in? BTW do they have the Tubes instead of the little Christmas light thingys?

ive seen blue, white, and multi. usually in the garden section, with all the christmas stuff. and yeah ive all seen the LED rope lights, dont know much about these though

Are these lights cheaper to run than other lights ? Are they as durable? I might try something like this.
i forget what the wattage consumption is, but its ridiculously low. i wanna say somewhere in the range of 4~5w per string. and LEDs pretty much last forever, so...

I will hop over and look at the thread now. I swear I didn't even see the thread, so if they look the exact same, then I guess great minds think alike.:D I had these made before new years, but I couldn't find the camera. Some how it was in the trashcan by my desk.... Must have fell off the desk I guess. And you were definetly not threadjacking...

It is 4.43 watts a string and the company that makes them actually says that is ok to hook up to 43 strings of these LED lights safely together.:WHOA: LEDs also last for 25,000 hours.
