I agree, they are strange but I thought you never know when you might need something strange. I like the 5 way I can see that being used for a interesting return, also the table top end cap ands fish mouth end caps could be used to support your plumbing.

The fittings are widely used in the pvc furniture industry (I use to make the stuff). The fittings aren't plumbing quality, but they can be modified to do what you need (I'd like to formally thank the guy that invented hole saws ). The fittings aren't quite sch 40 but are caught between sch 20 and 40.
