Nicest flowerhorn

In the hobby of FH, kamfa seems to be the most sought after as far as I notice. Anything that has red and gold in it will be the most beautiful flowerhorn(in my opinion as far as many FH hobbyist). Kamfa...kamalau aka golden monkey is my top 2 favorite.

Depends how high of a quality do you want it to be. Top notch the best of the best will run you near thousands. Great quality will run you mid hundreds. Good quality will run you in the low hundreds. But if your buying it at the juvy stage like lets say 3"-4", it should cut the price by double. This also depends on where you get it from and who you get it from. Aquabid will give you an idea on the prices. But if you can find a local breeder(also known as back yard FH breeder), you might come across some good looking ones for cheap if your lucky enough. A lot of overseas breeder will cull a lot of them and keep the top 10% best looking ones just to sell out. For local breeder, they might keep their top 10% best looking ones and give the rest to sell. So it kind of depends where you go to get your fish too.

Kok doesn't determine the price of the FH either(although it makes up a lot of the value). Pearl patterns, flowerlines/plums, thickness and other traits determine the value of the FH too. And yet again, if your lucky enough you can get it for cheap.
