Niger catfish help!

I just bought two pretty small niger cats. I was wondering I feed them the usual- brine shrimp, shrimp pellet's, different types of flakes. I was thinking are live bloodworms good? I heard that they can block the intestines of some fishes.
What are some other foods that are great for them.

P. Nigers will eat most anything, the one I had years ago Would eat off the top. Hed go across the glass like a typerwriter eating. They should be fine with whatever makes it to the bottom.
