can they be with any other trigger?
 
maybe i have the wrong name but that is what the store said it is called and they said it could not go with a niger or a blue throat but i have had them together before would size matter?

Keep some triggers like this with the niger trigger.
 
went back he got wrong name it is called a durgeon trigger
 
as long as you have more than two others. While they are quite bold, they are mellow as far as triggers go.

what about size?
 
Try to get them about the same size so the bigger one wont pic on the smaller one. I have had a couple of niger triggers. For some reason mine have always like my powerheads a lil too much and end up stuck to the intake in the morning. Good luck.

That's a good point. They do like to wedge into places.(That's what their trigger is for). That's a good thing to keep in mind when looking over your tank for safety issues. It made me look mine over again! I'm sure the trigger wouldn't be happy if it didn't have at least one place to wedge into. Just because of my own guess, I would have some places that were just the right size, since that's what they're made for. I think this post is partly to see if I'm on the right page with those who know triggers much better than I.

What do you folks think?
