Check the packaging of each diff type. If they do not use chemicals or preservatives, they should be fine to use as food. May be easier to dig/raise your own though.

The ones you find in the backyard are very good, but make sure you ask the shop's employe's as to wether the worms have had chemicals sprayed onto them.

i think our yard and the golfcourse gets treated often though..

just wondering but what kind of places would they be hiding in?

I assume they are safe, that is what my Oscars have been getting for treats for almost 2 years now.

I'm shure all there given is food.Someone like Oddball could probably better verify this.As he runs a hatchery and might know the worm buisiness too.
