The ackie monitors stay about 2 1/2-3 feet long, very interesting creatures, nice color and attitude. They eat bugs, they have such a small head that they cant eat mice, a good thing, because many people feed other monitors rodents. They dont need a very large cage but their are always debates on what is the right size one for them.

Savanah monitors are smaller and more docile. Another pretty monitor that doesnt get too big is a mangrove monitor. They are pretty to.
