Nile perch???

I have seen those pics. I wanna see ones in home aquaria. N my 300 is 3 ft wide. But once he gets over 2 ft I will prob put him with my big cats. Hopefully in a 600 gal tank. If not a rank then for sure a pond. Lookin at 4x8x36in tall

If you want to keep your Nile Perch as an adult in captivity a pond is for the most part the only way to keep him. For pictures google/you tube search.
 
lol i know they get big. in lakes. but in home aquaria most fish dont reach true adult sizes.
does anyone have true hands on experience with them??
if so do YOU have pics of YOUR nile perch??
as i said, once he gets over 2ft he will be goin in my big cat pond IF i dont have my 600 gallon tank by then.
i have the space for him no matter what. i just want to know what to expect.
but i guess once i get him and have him for a year or so i will post up a care sheet for nile perch

It's always better to prepare for what might be then what should be...

If your'e not up to a pond, maybe get a barramundi. They grow smaller & looks almost identical
