Nipping problem...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
yeah. they suck at customer service and it's just salt. good quality fish and product but I seriously doubt they will have what you're looking for. It's worth a shot though. Better to call and ask if they have it first because you have to be guided through the warehouse by an employee. They want you to know what you want before you even step foot into the place.

Dave, I had a hunch they were all salt water by the looks of their website. It's lame that they walk you through the place too.. I thought it would be cool to go check it out, thinking they had a lot of livestock, but never mind that!! I'm thinking these two cats will end up being alright together, man. Do you guys ever get, or can you get, Pseudotropheous Saulosi cichlid? I think they're a Lake Malawi Dwarf Mbuna... They're only supposed to get up to about 3 - 3.5". Females are yellow and the males (born yellow also) turn blue with black stripes.

not really. never show up on the list. check out Circle City Aquarium Club. Most of those guys are cichlid keepers.

Okay, I broke down and bought another cat, and all is well between the three of them. No more torn fins! He/she is just a little guy though. They should be fine in the 75 for a while, then I'll upgrade. A 220 would be sweet for them, so that's the long term goal. One interesting thing I've noticed is that they will momentarily lay on the bottom next to/on top of each other. Beforehand, one would rest for a second while the other continued to swim... They must feel like more of an actual school now. Also, I threw three Black Mollies into the mix (two males and one female) with hopes that the cats will feed on the inevitable fry...

I figured that would work for you. :)
