Nitrate and Nitrites. did I un cycle my tank??

How are the fish doing?

When i first uncycled my tank I had nitrite reads of close to 5 ppm. And nitrates were around 60 and it was dark red. I also noticed when my tank had the highest readings there was slimecoat from the stingrays in the water and 2 of them quit eating. They are now back to normal and healthy again.

after doing a 20% water change for a week and adding seachem stability everyday, my nitrites are 5ppm or under and my nitrites are just above 0.

Also thank you Big dovii and RED DRAGON 99 for selling me and giving me established media out of your own tanks to save mine.

Glad all is well, like you said lesson learned. Chlorine, in tap water kills BB. The only thing I would do with my BB is lightly swoosh it in a container of water from the same tank it is in. It does not have to be done very often. With very good prefilters it might never have to be done.
