anybody ever take this plant madness a step further and measure the disolved oxygen in the water and get a general rule of thumb for the amount of plants it takes to support fish with zero surface agitation or filtration? I know that gas exchange at the surface of the water does more than what is released by the plants, but do the plants make any measurable difference?
