I saw nothing wrong with Chompers reply. In fact it was quite informative. His reply was stating that if you use multiple terms to describe the same thing then you may confuse your audience and yourself in the process. The helpful advice didn't seem to be any sort of attack in my mind. Had paused to consider who was responding to you, you might have re-thought your reply as he was about the only person left that had any desire whatsoever to deal with you.

Interesting experiment. Is that the point? An experiment? A 55 seems like a pretty small tank to be worried about nitrates since water changes are fairly simple at that size.

Are you keeping track of parameters?

Parameters are fine. Nitrate are usually kept low with WCs but the tank is not near any easy water source. Lugging buckets tend to be a pita.

why change terms that have been in use for ever...i agree with chompers...

Change? I never had the intention of changing any terms.

I like how no one likes their threads to go off course but you guys don't mind throwing others off.

they make and you can DIY your own python in any lenght ;)

they make pythons in 100' lengths.... you can also just buy the sink adaptor and tube and go to HD or lowes and buy clear tubing and do the rest yourself
