Im never going through this crap again.....in gonna buy a smaller ac an leave it running on my tank .... and use that to complete all future cycling ... this was cute for the fist week or so

Put some fish in it. They'll be fine.

that's how I do it...buy new filters get em ready on a tank in use(sponge filters are great for this.), then pop em on the new tank,instant cycle....just make sure the filters have been running about 6 weeks:)
 
water change every other day, fin level, dose the tank with prime/safe every time for size of tank and then the fish be fine, other wise cycle it up first. every other day becouse prime/safe lasts 48 hours and only handles up to 2ppm off ammonia,clitorides, oops no ideal what that is, spell check go figure, chlorine and nitrite.
 
how bigs the arowana? just asking because a larger fish has a much larger bio load and you may still go through a mini cycle.
